september 18 - 5 to 9 pm - broad street
Stroll along Broad Street under a moonlit sky while enjoying The Art of Arts Autumn Amble on Thursday, September 18 from 5 pm to 10 pm as a kick-off to the ten day Westobou Festival.
Partnering with Artists’ Row, the Downtown Augusta Alliance is picks up this fall where the highly successful Summer Solstice Stroll left off. The Art of the Arts Autumn Amble again recaptures the essence of the original First Friday, this time with a focus on visual and creative art and atmosphere. “Amblers” will enjoy browsing in the galleries and shops, meeting the artists, partaking in complimentary refreshments, and listening to acoustic music scattered along the street.
Autumn Amble guides are available at participating locations and provide a handy way to keep track of your evening jaunt. Combined with the opening ceremonies in the Common, the unveiling of Slow Dancing and a plethora of great restaurants to choose from, you can make a night to remember in downtown Augusta.
